In brief

Can I Put a Sauna Here? is operated by DIGI LLC. The site does not currently have user accounts, contact or signup forms, a newsletter, advertising, or intentional first-party tracking or profiling. The site does not require application-set cookies or persistent browser storage.

Planner forms and location data

The sauna planner and Greenhouse Finder use client-side forms and controls to ask about your proposed setup, such as placement, available dimensions, desired capacity, heat preference, electrical situation, growing goal, ZIP code, and budget.

Those answers are used in your browser to generate a recommendation. The site does not ask you to identify yourself or submit planner answers to an application database, and it does not save a history of your recommendations. When a ZIP code is entered in Greenhouse Finder, the page fetches bundled, same-site location and climate data files from /greenhouse/data/location/; those requests do not submit the questionnaire answers to an application database.

Technical information

The site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify and its hosting infrastructure may process technical information from normal server requests, such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested URLs, timestamps, and request or security logs.

Netlify Web Analytics may be used to understand aggregate site traffic and usage. If enabled, it may use server-side request and log data to provide aggregate measurements such as page views, referring pages or sites, device and browser information, and approximate geographic or network information available from normal server requests. This policy does not make a claim about Netlify's retention period or other provider-specific practices; those are governed by the applicable Netlify terms and privacy information. We use available aggregate information to understand site usage, improve the tools and content, and monitor site performance.

Cookies and tracking

Can I Put a Sauna Here? does not currently require its own cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar persistent browser storage for the planner experiences. We do not currently use analytics pixels, client-side analytics scripts, advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or similar client-side tracking technologies in the site code. Whether Netlify Web Analytics is enabled, and the provider's handling of server-side analytics data, are separate from application-set cookies and browser storage.

Google Fonts and other sites

Greenhouse pages load the Caprasimo and Figtree fonts from Google's font servers. Loading those fonts sends a normal browser request to Google and is subject to Google's applicable privacy practices.

The site may link to independent sauna manufacturers, greenhouse sellers, retailers, and other third-party websites. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices and policies. If affiliate tracking is activated in the future, a merchant or affiliate network may use cookies, referral parameters, or similar technologies after you follow a qualifying link. Any such third-party tracking is controlled by the merchant or network, not by the site's planner code.

Other sites

This Privacy Policy applies to Can I Put a Sauna Here? It does not govern the websites, services, cookies, or data practices of manufacturers, retailers, affiliate networks, or other third parties you may visit through external links.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if the site's functionality, service providers, or commercial relationships change. The date above will show when the policy was most recently updated.
